Ayu Ingin Cetak Hattrick

Petenis andalan DKI Jakarta Ayu Fani Damayanti memasang target mempertahankan gelar juara turnamen Piala Gubernur DKI Jakarta yang diraihnya tahun lalu.

Jika target tersebut tercapai, tahun ini petenis yang menjadi unggulan teratas dalam turnamen berhadiah total Rp 175 juta itu akan mencetak hattrik setelah tahun 2008 lalu juga memenangi gelar tunggal putri.

"Kalau ditanya target, sudah pasti juara. Saya akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk meraihnya," ujar Ayu di lapangan tenis Klub Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, Senin 19 April 2010.

Persaingan di kelompok tunggal putri tampaknya tidak terlalu ketat menyusul mundurnya tiga pemain utama yakni, Lavinia Tananta (Jateng), Jessy Rompies (Kaltim), dan Grace Sari Ysidora (Sumut).
